Sign Worilds, that's the key. He can stop the run and is on the rise. At all costs sign him...

I think people are having a selective memory about Ike. The guy is a very good football player. He isn't a Safety yet, let Lake work with him. Except you are right about his hands. His hands suck balls. But you never know what kind of tackler he could be in that position if he hasn't played it. His balls skills are good and his coverage is outstanding. He wont be covering the other teams #1 WR anymore. If the coaches think he could do it, why not??

Why was William Gay starting? Cortez Allen should've been getting more starting reps because we already knowm William Gay is a nickel / slot corner at best

Allen wasn't effective at the beginning of the season, plus he got hurt.

If we cut Ike Taylor, then we will need 2 new starting cornerbacks because we WILL NOT be a top 10 Defense if William Gay starts 16 games. Should've just coughed up the money for Keenan Lewis.

Am I the only one who thinks Cortez can be the #1 CB? He started out awful at he beginning of the season but thats what happens when you miss a lot of time with an injury. But he caught own at the end of the season and played great.

If we cut Ike Taylor we'll need to start him

he was starting opposite of Ike later own in the season and did very well.

He covered AJ Green very well and If I'm not mistaking he didn't even let Josh Gordon get a catch when they lined up against each other.

He has the talents to be a #1 CB.

Cortez Allen got a lot of praise coming into the 2013 season for a hand full of games. He struggled early this season, but he's still very young. I think you're right, he started to really play better and consistently down the stretch. I'm not sold on him yet, but until this season started, I said the same thing about Antonio Brown. I'm not sold on him, but I expect big things!

We should just focus on upgrading Ryan Clark instead. I don't think we should draft a safety until we're replacing Troy Polamalu. We should sign TJ Ward or Bernard Pollard in free agency.
