Default Screw the Chargers

Apparently they can do a fake punt, get stuffed, but push the pile for 10 seconds until the runner reaches the first down. Then the runner clearly fumbles and it's picked up and returned for a TD by the Chiefs, but the play was apparently "dead" as soon as he reached the first down marker. That...aside from the stupid missed kick by the Chiefs crappy kicker...cost KC the game and ultimately knocked Pittsburgh out of the playoffs.

God I hate San Diego. They were so happy that they lucked into the playoffs after getting taken to the woodshed by the Chiefs backups. I hope they enjoy getting demolished by the Bungholes. Just came here because I know you were pissed about that play too.

Your shitty kicker should have been given another chance.. The Chargers were lined up in an illegal formation on the field goal kick. Maybe it's why Succup pushed it right? Who knows.. The refs royally fucked over the Chiefs and Steelers.

WE're pissed about it-- but unlike you KC fans, we've got nothing to fall back on this year. Truthfully, most of us feel that if the Steelers had to depend on tiebreaker aerobics to get in the playoffs-- they probably didn't deserve to be there anyhow.

Good luck in the playoffs, dude. Here's hoping Tamba Hali breaks Tom Brady's knees (oh, did I say that?).... Your boy Jamaal Charles won me the $500 FF pot at work this year.

I know the Steelers don't really deserve a playoff spot this year, but they should be in over San Diego. That was a bogus call. They didn't even look at it. They should have let the fumble and TD occur because then they would have to review it because it was a scoring play. Instead they just very quickly stated "the runner reached the first down marker" and the next play happened. I was like "WTF?!". I don't know why I care so much about a meaningless game (for the Chiefs anyway) with all backups playing. But it really pissed me off today.

Oh well. I wish Brown could have stayed in bounds on that crazy final play against Miami. That was amazing. Couldn't believe he stepped out. I had Big Ben in fantasy this year and that would have counted as a long TD I think.

EXACTLY.

When you see the replay the side judge starts running with the defender. No whistle was blown; it was a live play until the defender was about 10 yards from pay dirt and Bill Leavy bailed out the Bolts.

At the very least it should have been ruled a TO and reviewed.

The NFL simply needs to have better replay oversight in these types of game-changing plays.

C'mon guys, we beat the Packers without Rodgers then we beat the Browns which just showed up because they had to... Don't blame anybody else, the Steelers earned what they got. Lots of things to look forward to next year..Go Steelers

Regardless of what they would have/could have ruled it, I'm just pissed they didn't even take a minute to look at that fake punt. Clearly his progress wasn't stopped. Sickening.

And, the Chargers beat the Chiefs without Eric Berry... and Dontari Poe... and Deayne Bowe... and Jamaal Charles... and about fifteen other starters.
