Next thing you know, steelerfans will be trying to convince everyone that dick lebeau is suffering from Alzheimer's and has forgotten everything he has learned after 50 years in the NFL.

Oh wait....
I'm sorry...

...what?

CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!
Nope, just cut the guys who are 32 and 33 years old, respectively, and gave up record numbers in the passing game twice this season. Or should I link you the Lions game in which Megatron completely embarrassed our entire secondary. Or maybe the Josh Gordon game in which he went over 200 yards. Maybe the Patriots game and watch as Brady goes for over 400 and Ike and Ryan get completely embarrassed multiple times by second rate receivers.

I'm asking for guys who no longer deserve their big cap hits to be released. I didn't realize not being sentimental was "embarrassing" and a "hater".

Ike and Ryan?

I thought this thread was about polamalu???

Or did you change it up all of a sudden?

So in your opinion Brady and manning are too old to be playing football, or does your specific criteria only fall upon steelers defenders?

Doesn't matter... your criteria doesn't set the guidelines.

I will enjoy watching troy play in the black and gold next season. You can do whatever.

... Tony, really? C'mon now. Look at how badly Troy played against the Patriots. Then against the Lions, then again against Cleveland. I still don't understand the staunch defense of a player who at times looked like the first ballot hall of fame player he is, but at other times looked like a shell of his former self.

I was talking cap situation. You said we should cut everyone, and I specified two names - Troy and Ike.

Did you just compare Quarterbacks to Safeties in age and wear on the body? I don't even know what to say.

First of all... you specified like and Ryan.. if that was a typo , you are forgiven.

Second of all, the steelers game planed for, and beat Detroit and Cleveland for three of their 8 wins.

Brady and belichick have torched EVERY team in the past 12 years regardless of age.

Are you really suggesting we really fire anyone older than 32 and go the chiefs/ giants route?

The ravens beat the patriots last year. Maybe we can dump all our veterans as well to go 8-8.

Oh wait...

C'mon man.

enough with the Troy hater melodrama. Nobody is suggesting to pay him like Aaron Rodgers or Tony Romo.

Yeah its all well and good calling for Troy to retire a Steeler. But, as we all know he goes against the cap. veteran discount please Troy and don't argue about it. We need to get some fresh blood on our D#.
