A restructure is likely. The way he plays, I wouldn't mind if he continues his career for two more seasons. Yes sometime he looks like a fool on the field, but he's still one of the better strong safety in the league when you take everything into consideration (e.g. play making ability).

Art said he wanted Harrison to retire a Steeler too. We know how that played out. The difference here is Troy played at a Pro Bowl level this season, so he is still considered a elite Safety. The Harrison decision was easier. I hope Troy stays, but I think the Steelers should pay him, and if he walks I'd be disappointed but can understand.

Outta all the old guys we still got left on defense, I wouldn't mind seeing Troy brought back, but only if he takes a paycut. It's only fair because his production has fallen over the last 3 years. I appreciate & have nothing but respect for what Bret Keisel gave us over his career, but dude should've retired 2 years ago because he's got nothing left in the tank. Too often he's not holding his position & can't command 2 blockers; that's not good for a 3/4 defensive scheme. Do you all realize how slow this man is?? This is important because teams are now running all over us going outside the numbers. Bret Keisel is not gonna chase anybody down. So I'm sorry but it's time to part ways...
