I just bought a bottle of iron maiden trooper premium British beer brewed by Robinson's brewery, with that as its label.

Haven't tried it yet though. The bottle is a keeper.

It felt hot as shit today. The house thermostat got up to 70 degrees and I almost felt like I had to turn on the AC for the first time this year.

I saw a tumbleweed blowing across the k-mart parking lot (true story). .

A true sign springtime is here.

Time to plant the tomatoes, jalapeños, habaneros, and marigolds as I watch my water and electric bills shoot through the roof.

Cutting my heating bill from $55 to $12 doesn't come close to making up the difference.

We need rain, snow, any thing besides freaking wind.

Augusta, Georgia, has moved on from a catastrophic ice storm that knocked out power to most of the city to something different from mere winter weather

An earthquake with an epicenter northeast of Augusta shook metro Atlanta homes Friday night.

The quake measured 4.1 on the Richter Scale and happened at 10:22 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake’s epicenter was Edgefield, S.C., about 25 miles from Augusta. But it was strong enough to also send tremors into Georgia and Tennessee.

I hope you all enjoy your earth quakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, 15 foot snow drifts, sub zero temps, days of rain, flooding, 100 percent humidity, etc.

sure we have the occasional heat wave of a hundred and 80 degrees but with a zero percent humidity it is about as uncomfortable as standing next to a cozy fireplace or a bonfire at a nighttime desert party.

however we are quickly approaching our worst weather of the year. Wind.

it seems the wind blows for the entire spring season. It really messes up your hair. Sometimes we have wind gusts up to 60 miles an hour. On those days you have to carry a comb Orabrush.

It really sucks. I have to dust my house at least once every two weeks.

I laugh at people who complain about dying while shoveling snow. Imagine the allergens and blowing pollen we have to deal with.

achoo!

Edgefield is where the most SC Governors were born. Now they have a second thing for the sign as you enter town.

That's BS about the heat...I remember wanting to kill myself in Phoenix, and that was in May. I can't imagine how horrid it is in summer. Sure it's dry heat, but it was like getting hit in the face with a wall of death. Plus I've got dry skin, I turned into an alligator almost instantly lol. It was honestly worse than any humidity I've ever dealt with...and we used to vacation in Florida in August.

Speaking of wind and dust...
