Default Lache Seastrunk

I know there are positions of higher need but if this guy is available at our 3rd round comp, I would jump at having him.

He seems like he will be a great complement to Bell, a guy with 4.4 speed. He's solidly built too at 5'09 210lbs. Just needs to carry the football more securely... gives me visions of David Wilson with that carrying style. Of course LeSean McCoy carries the ball just the same and hasn't had a fumbling issue. To me he looks like a faster Giovanni Bernard... running backs just seem like they are projecting lower in this draft.

Hahaha yeah I just have a bit of a man crush on this kid. He runs low and is very quick. Keeps his feet churning through the holes and has excellent cutback ability. Averaged over 7 yards a carry.

Right now I've checked a few websites and nfldraftscout has him graded as a 3rd or 4th rounder, but walterfootball has him behind only Ka'deem Carey in this draft and is projecting rounds 2-3. I'm thinking he will probably put up some great numbers at the combine.... prior to transferring from Oregon he ran a 4.34 40 yard dash, had a 44.2 inch vertical and a 11' broad jump.... of course those numbers were from his first year out of high school. (http://www.baylorbears.com/sports/m-...nk_772741.html)

I think if we really want him we would most likely need a late 2nd round or early 3rd round pick. As much as I want this guy I wouldn't grab him in the 2nd round... much better options there at positions such of greater need. If we have a third round pick and he's on the board I would pull the trigger.

I'd have to agree with you there, 3rd Rd or later. I don't know if the Steelers want to invest another higher pick in a RB, or if they're looking at that position at all. Maybe they bring back Dwyer and LSH. Looks like he'll be pretty good.
