Default Big Ben 5th in Most Clutch Category

Two-minute warning and the Superbowl on the line, NFL players have Roethlisberger 5th behind Brady, Manning, Rodgers and Brees.

Sorry, I may be biased (and not an NFL player), but with two minutes to go in the Superbowl, with the game on the line, I'm still taking #7. Superbowl 43, 2009 against Green Bay, and the 2011 Divisional game against Baltimore is all I need to know.

Alas, XLV did not end the way that I had envisioned.

Ben did something Brady or Manning (Peyton) didn't do. Drive his team the length of the field with the SB on the line and delivered one of the most magnificent placed balls in Super Bowl history for 6. What did Brady do? Get his kicker into FG range while Peyton was throwing pick 6's? Yeah, okay.

Gimmie Ben over any of those guys.

That's a good point and I believe Brady got one of those FGs after the Carolina kicker I believe kicked the ball out of bounds. And honestly, that's why I was puzzled to see on the Sportscenter facebook feed asking me who I'd rather have with the SB on the line- Brady or Elway. Question should be Elway or Montana. I've never been sold on Brady when you need a TD. FGs, yes but not TDs.

this is the shit rankings that make me angry, along with the word "elite"

for Ben's legacy - you want Peyton to lose and for Brady to keep coming up short

ALSO - for our sake as Steelers fans - we need Ben and co. to get back to the promised land. Coming back and winning a 3rd SB after losing during your 3rd appearance would be pretty impressive.

Stupid Johnson and stupid Clay Matthews.

Ben is more clutch than any of those guys. Maybe he's not a better quarterback, but you give Ben the last two minutes of the most high-profile, pressure-inducing game on the planet, and he'll score you a touchdown.

The others have yet to do that.

On the day that BB was drafted, I predicted six SuperBowl appearances, winning five of them.

A threepeat to close out his career would be a perfect ending.
