Guess I'm not in to Hollywood.
The only thing I really know him from is the Big Lebowski

Her life is in your hands. Mr. Lebowski asked me to repeat that: her life is in your hands.

Her life is in your hands, Dude.

Yes, that and when he laughs uncomfortably when Bunny propositions the Dude.

HUGE fan of PSH. It's truly terrible that he's gone, especially with a wife and kids left behind.

@AtlantaDan is right, addiction is a serious disease. *smh*

I'll remember PSH as a chameleon actor, but most personally for that scene in one of my favorite movies (which more or less defines my 'love life', or lack thereof [minus the homosexuality]).

If you aren't familiar with this man's work then pull up his filmography on IMDB or Wiki and pick any one. He's gold in all of them.

Whew... I was afraid that it was going to be a scene from Happiness. Which one? ANY would suffice.

My favorite is probably the nurse in Magnolia, when he calls Frank T.J. Mackey's publicist: "I know that this might sound ridiculous... like this is the scene in the movie where the guy's tracking down the long lost son... but, this is that scene, this is that scene. And, I think that they have those scenes in movies, because they're true."

Four people were arrested in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday evening with more than 350 bags of heroin as part of the investigation into the death of the actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, the authorities said.

I am confident the NYPD throws the resources used in the investigation to arrest Hoffman's dealer every time someone ODs.

Dealing junk to celebrities probably is not the best cost-benefit move for a dealer.

Wasn't one of the Olson twins questioned after Heath Ledger's death?

Finally got around to watching Hard Eight (which was AWESOME) yesterday. This scene really stuck out:

Yeah, it's one of the best scenes in the movie.

PSH + PTA = gold.

See: Sydney (AKA Hard Eight), Boogie Nights, Magnolia or The Master.
