Glad to read he lost the weight before he is dead of a cardiac at 50 but dropping those kind of pounds involves more than passing on dessert

If the NFL wants to make the game less deadly get a serious agreements with the NFLPA on testing for PEDs

Not quite as impressive as Matt Birk's transformation, but wow!

Also, this is surely no indication of rampant PED use in the NFL.

***Nothing to see here folks! People naturally become 300 pound monsters playing a game with high cardiovascular activity and then lose 70+ pounds once they stop playing it! Move along!***

I can't agree more.

Congratulations to Faneca! That's awesome.

I think Alan was all natural, and so was everyone else in the league.

Thumbs up Re: Alan Faneca, from All-Pro Guard, to All-Day Runner

Congrats to Mr. Faneca for losing all that weight! I will never forget his contribution of being a beast on the O-Line. I will also never forget his key block in Super Bowl XL that sprung Willie Parker free past the LB's and Safety. Memories

Bloody hell Parker was fast...

Anyways, I thought that that was a photoshop special when I seen that pic of Faneca then.

Again on a separate note, what a O-Line that was.

I thought the refs threw that block.
