Default FA CB's

I was looking at list of FA's recently and there are quite a few of CB's out there, maybe we can pick one up to replace Ike . . . Here are a few I would like to see:

Alterraun Verner - Tennessee
Brent Grimes - Miami
Vontae Davis - Indy
Aqib Talib - NE
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie - Denver
Captain Munnerlyn - Carolina

Of all on that list I like DRC the best, however he seems to lack run support so maybe not the best fit.
Captain is very physical, but a little short so maybe a better fit but will his height be a factor?
Talib has had a few injury issues lately, and getting older so maybe he could be picked up at a bit of discount while we groom a replacement from the draft? I would rather have a 4-5+ year replacement for Ike rather than a stop gap though, so we don't have to worry about drafting a CB for a couple years.

Don't know much about the others, just thinking that the best way to replace Ike will be in FA for 2 reasons . . . 1. I doubt a rookie will come in to this defense and make a big splash and 2. It will free up a draft slot of need for other needed positions.

Verner.

Asante Samuel is now a free agent as well, who would likely come cheap. Not that he's worth it over any on this list, but he could be helpful.

Asante is noting more than a Nickel Corner(if that) but if hes cheap it couldn't hurt

I want what Seattle did. Other than Earl Thomas, like Troy, the other guys were low round studs. I want the Steelers to watch film on those guys for the next 6 months and get that philosophy down.

Too late. 30 other teams are going to start watching film and drafting studs in the late rounds.
