Default Our last game

You guys think you would have defeated the pack if Rodgers played still. Not taking anything away from the steelers. They won the game fair and square and deserved it. I think it would have been a similar matchup myself coming down to the wire. What do you guys think? I read a topic on our board and many fans were saying they think we would have beaten Pittsburgh with Rodgers. I don't think so myself.

your chances increase . . .obviously

down to the wire either way - nothing would have shocked me - both teams weren't going to make it far in the playoffs anyways IMO

It would have been an entirely different game plan. We would've had to play a lot more soft coverage to compensate for Rodgers - something we didn't have to do with Flynn. IIRC you guys were pretty banged up, but I do think it would have been the same result.

I think it still would have been a loss with Rodgers as well. Pittsburgh played great that day. That fake punt was a great play on your part but Rodgers might not have thrown the pick six, you never know though.

probably not, but i'll take the win.

though gotta also factor in that rodgers back that early might have been rusty from not playing in so long, so they might have done worse, nobody knows for sure though

GB,

Just a though, how about we spot you Rogers, who agreed, would have been a big plus for the Pack, but then we have, Pouncey at center, a healthy Lamar Woodley at OLB and Foote at MLB... oh and Matthews plays the whole game for you???

Seriously, I much prefer to play teams a full strength, and no doubt, Matt Flynn is not Aaron Rogers There is no way Rogers blows your last pass play that should have gone for six. Nelson was wide open on the slant. Flynn missed it.

That said Injuries are part of the game, just like bad calls and the weather. The better team that day usually wins regardless. Keep in mind, that's why they play the game on the field, not on the message boards, but it is fun to speculate..

More importantly, if Gradkowski had started for Pittsburgh:
Packers 17
Steelers 59
