Default Rows For Covered Seats In Heinz Club Level?

I am making my annual pilgrimage to Heinz with my Dad for the Colts game in late October

We sat in club level row F last year for the Ravens game and got lucky it was a great fall afternoon - the game would have been played in a downpour and we would have been drenched if it had been 24 hours earlier. Before I buy my seats through SeatGeek, I would prefer to cover my bets by getting club seats that are covered by the upper deck overhang above club level.

If anyone knows the row letter where the club level seats start to be covered by the upper deck overhang and could pass that along I would appreciate it

most of the sites are terrible at the info that needs to be provided - I think if you are selling you shouldn't be able to proceed unless you provide essentials like

seat number, aisle seats, under cover, etc - even if you typed them and the site could auto fill the rest - I will never pay for tickets unless they tell me the seat number - the Steelers do a bad job of not making a complete diagram with rows available, as well as maps easily accessible on their site with all food and bathroom locations, etc

anyways - I've been told from a friend that is a lifelong season ticket holder that the last 5 rows on club level is where you can guarantee cover - take that for whatever it is worth. He also said, depending on severity of weather, you might be ok in last 8 rows.

I'm going to that game too - got 218, not club level this time - got a wedding that weekend I'm shelling out some other travel and lodging for so I wanted to save where I could without feeling like I overdid it.

Received this response from the Steelers ticket office

ticketoffice@steelers.nfl.com

RE: Covered Seats In Heinz Field Club Level

Rows E to the back of the club are covered. A-D are not under cover .

Thank you.

Pittsburgh Steelers Ticket Office

My recollection is you need seats higher then Row E for cover but hopefully this information is correct

Seat Hound is a good page to keep up while deciding on what to order - although still not complete enough IMO

did you decide on a section/order already?

I would be pretty confident doing row J and back. Sounds like E-I are still a ? as to whether or not you are completely safe from rain. I would think maybe E and F you still might get something if it is coming at an angle!?

Covered seats? Probably in the section where they do the mani-pedis at half-time and the vendors bring you vegetarian sushi on silver trays. I bet you drink your beer pinky-out!
