There may be no receivers left on the board by the end of the 3rd round!

Unbelievable....I'm not saying it won't or can't happen, but geez.

That may indeed be the worst mock I've seen in years. Though Kiper had something to do with it which makes a lot of sense.

If the Browns take a WR in the first round not named Sammy Watkins, the entire organization should be fired on the bus ride back to Ohio. The Lions passing on a top defensive prospect? The Saints passing on a 3-4 player? Stupid.

If the Lions don't take several defensive players early, they should have the franchise taken off of them........................but the more I think about it..........that's why they're the Lions.

They probably go offense with their first 5 picks with 3 WRs taken.

The more receivers that go early, the better the defensive players pushed down to 15... and to 46.

Imagine... if by 46... fifteen WRs are drafted. That leaves 31 other players... five of which will be QBs and six of which will be O-linemen... leaving 20 defensive players.

In other words, the Steelers could end up with two of the top 20 defensive players in this draft. JACKPOT!!!

That's what smart teams do. The Steelers need defense. If a run on receivers happens, they can't overreact to that and reach for a receiver that is not worthy of that particular pick.

As you say, that will leave many players at other positions that will be tremendous value picks. That means there will be difference makers and game changers on the board for the Steelers to draft.

We don't need a replay of the Troy Edwards Experience........a case study into reaching for a position of need.
