No good.......the Ravens have him locked up in a long term deal as Co-GM.

Unless Bill Cowher is drafting for us this year, it doesn't matter... we're screwed. We all know Mike Tomlin can only win with his players.

So, what you're saying is: there is now ZERO chance of this occurring.

I need to get a separate email from Ozzie.

He promises that he only looks at emails addresses to him. But, my gut says that he's been sneaking peeks.

"The Steelers are doubly fortunate this year because, in addition to the number of elite players in the first round, this draft is deep and talented at positions where they have needs.

Mayock said this is the best draft for receivers in years. Sammy Watkins of Clemson is expected to be drafted in the top five, but Mayock said the Steelers, if they wanted to go that route, would be able to get one of the other top three receivers at No. 15. His top three receivers after Watkins are Marquise Lee of Southern California, Mike Evans of Texas A&M and Kelvin Benjamin of Florida State, in that order.

All three are underclassmen. Evans and Benjamin are third-year sophomores and Lee is a junior."

2014 NFL Combine: Giant receivers earning buzz at weigh-ins

By Rob Rang | The Sports Xchange/CBSSports.com
February 21, 2014

While the flavor of the month in the NFL may be small quarterbacks and tall cornerbacks, teams have always held big receivers in high regard.

This fact likely played a role in a quartet of hulking underclassmen -- Texas A&M's Mike Evans, Florida State's Kelvin Benjamin, Penn State's Allen Robinson and Clemson's Martavis Bryant -- declaring early for the 2014 draft.

As Seattle Seahawks' head coach Pete Carroll noted Friday, "There are a lot fewer of the tall guys because it's really hard to be tall and fast."

Their great size stands out among the 13 highly regarded underclassmen receivers who were measured Friday at the Combine. The thick builds of Clemson's Sammy Watkins (211 pounds), LSU's Jarvis Landry (205 pounds), Fresno State's Davante Adams (212 pounds), South Carolina's Bruce Ellington (197 pounds) is an indication of the strength and aggression with which they play the game. This size gives each the potential to handle slot duties as well as playing on the outside, potentially boosting their stock that much more.

Players are listed alphabetically:

Davante Adams, Fresno State -- 6-foot 7/8 , 212 pounds

Odell Beckham, LSU -- 5-foot-11 1/4, 198 pounds

Kelvin Benjamin, Florida State -- 6-foot-5, 240 pounds

Martavis Bryant, Clemson -- 6-foot-3 1/2, 211 pounds

Brandin Cooks, Oregon State -- 5-foot-9 3/4, 189 pounds

Bruce Ellington, South Carolina -- 5-foot-09 3/8, 197 pounds

Mike Evans, Texas A&M -- 6-foot-4 3/4, 231 pounds

Austin Franklin, New Mexico State -- 5-foot-11 7/8, 189 pounds

Jarvis Landry, LSU -- 5-foot-11, 205 pounds

Marqise Lee, Southern Cal -- 5-foot-11 3/4, 192 pounds

Paul Richardson, Colorado -- 6-foot 3/8, 175 pounds

Allen Robinson, Penn State -- 6-foot-2 5/8, 220 pounds

Sammy Watkins, Clemson -- 6-foot 3/4, 211 pounds

I read that the Seahawks were going to release S. Rice. He could be worth taking a looking at, at least kicking the tires. He's the type of guy that might come cheap as well. Just my thoughts though
