Why?

People often say this, but aside from that awesome post-season run in 2010, Rodgers is the second coming of Mr. "One & Done." (Peyton being the original.)

Aaron Rodgers is at the top of the list of discount double checks and sausage pillows (an concept I am warming up to)

Well I don't think the list is who do you want to win you a playoff game. But even if it is, what has Ben done for us lately?

Rodgers is a lot like Ben. Able to move well in the pocket, can make the big throws, tough and puts up with bad protection a lot. He's better mechanically and can sustain the stats that Ben can't.

Do i want him over Ben? Nope. But does he probably belong ahead of him on meaningless best QB list? Probably.

It depends on what one values.

To me: BB is more than his mere statistics. He is elusive; he is clutch; and, he wins... in the post-season.

Rodgers reminds me of Dominique Wilkins. BB reminds me of Magic Johnson. Dominique scored far more points, but Magic was the better player.

The way I look at it, is Rodgers is the better QB. Ben is the better football player.

Agreed.
And, using another basketball analogy: John Stockton was the better point guard, but Magic was the better basketball player.

Or to put it in TAPES18N1 terms: Franklin Delano Roosevelt may have been a great leader, but Hitler was the greater humanitarian.

Hitler knew the way to a person's heart.

Ripping apart all of the "person" around it.

or in the terms of a scrotis or jxbox500, Ben is the better game manager
in terms of Gofor7, Rodgers isn't handicapped by a run run run and control the clock mentality.

Likewise, Dahmer knew that the heart was sweetest when sautéed.
