was between LaMarcus Joyner and Jordan Matthews.

went with Joyner by a hair. like that he can play corner or safety

also i think we could still get a good wr in round 3 with the depth of the draft at that position.

Can't decide...I have a gut feeling about Matthews, but will wait until my next break at work. I like hard workers and that is the first thing they say about Matthews.

If we went Dennard in the first round, it'd be Tuitt. We badly need DB help and Gaines excels in zone coverage.

In this mock, it has to be Gaines.

Fair enough. I am starting to regain hope that Dennard will in fact be there.

Your thoughts on Roberson?

Do what Bill Walsh did in 1981. He drafted DBs round 1 through 4.

Second round prospect. Strong against the pass, lackluster and disinterested in playing the run.

As a Gators fan, it's infuriating watching him play (or not play, rather) against the run. He doesn't lower his pads and make contact with the ball carrier. That being said, he's head and shoulders above Purifoy. I wouldn't be upset with him in the second round, but we have to set our expectations accordingly. He'll need Mitchell's support over the top initially in his career as he doesn't have fluid enough hips and can get beaten over the top.
