He's also the lowest pass rushing % by far, and still ranked where he was. It sort of brings up the whole why-don't-we-use-our-OLBs-as-passrushers-thing, but I digress.

So Worilds is going to play the year at $9million and try and cash in next season? I like it!!

Not a fan of paying big money long term contract to a guy that likely is not worth it. Will be great to see motivated Worilds playing, if healthy, until his replacement is ready next season.

Woodley catches way to much heat from steeler fans. Yes he has been hurt he is also easily the best olb we had. We are paying worilds 9.75 mill and that will turn out to be a big mistake

I removed the picture because I realized how obnoxiously huge it is

honestly - enough of Woodley topic - onto bigger (less hopefully) and better things

Really. If he has a decent year...say 10 sacks, he could be tagged again and get 10 million + about 30% more. Guys who only get 7 sacks are getting 8 million now. He is making bank and hurt the Steelers for this FA offseason. Everyone was like, he will sign longterm soon but never did.

Maybe the Steelers want to see what his production is this year before signing him long term.

After being on the hook for dead Woodley money, who could blame them.
