Default The Evil Within

Anyone else pick this up? Must say I'm enjoying it about 4 hours into the story. Can definitely tell it's a Shinji Mikami game (Creator of Resident Evil, the good ones). Pretty scary, has managed to make me jump a couple of times. Very intense. You really get a limited amount of ammunition and the game will reward you for playing patiently. If you try to do everything guns blazing you'll pay for it, dearly. Definitely feels like a survival horror title should.

I've spent most of my time learning enemies patterns and trying to sneak up on them to get the quiet stealth kills. This has allowed me to build up quite the stockpile of ammunition. I've read a few reviews that complain about the difficulty but I don't see the complaints. If you play the game the way it's meant to be played you won't die nearly as much as some of the reviewers out there are claiming. I've died once, and that was during the intro sequence which I won't describe to keep from spoiling anything. I will just say that the intro was very intense, and if you pay attention to the intro sequence and the way you have to play it, it's really acting like a tutorial for how you should approach the rest of the game.

Would be interested to hear if anyone else picked this up and if so what are your thoughts on it?
