Default On the clock: TB

Thus far, on the first annual Steelers Fever member-poll mock draft of amazingness, the picks have been:

1. HOU - Jadaveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina
2. STL - Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
3. JAX - Blake Bortles, QB, UCF
4. CLE - Johnny Football, QB, Texas A&M
5. OAK - Greg Robinson, LT, Auburn
6. ATL - Khalil Mack, OLB, Buffalo

The Buccaneers are on the clock...

[NOTE: This is an interesting pick, because they could go in just about ANY direction.]

It hurts. But I could see Mike Evans coming off the board here.

That's what I was thinking, because he and Vincent Jackson would be a crazy combo. But, then I thought that their WRs are good, and their O-line is okay.

So, "need" became the tie-breaker.

But Josh McCown isn't really an investment they "need" to protect, is he? They need crazy weapons around him to compete.

They have Mike Glennon... eh.

They have V-J and Mike Williams. But, their O-line is not very talented... and the Muscle Hamster needs holes through which to run. Ergo, I chose the LT.

But... I would not be opposed to the idea of Mike Evans.

1 & 1-a.

Has to be Bridgewater or Matthews. I went Bridgewater. Glennon isn't really worth passing on a QB of Bridgewater's caliber for. Their OL is alright, not great but they could get by. They don't really need WR, DL, or DB.

I wouldn't be surprised with Matthews either. But Love Smith has already said he's tired of Mike Williams shit, and then he gets stabbed. So his future is far from certain

True... which is why I mentioned in the OP that the Buccaneers could go in ANY direction. As @PhantomJB93 said, Bridgewater also makes a ton of sense.

Safety... probably not.
LB... maybe.
CB... is a possibility.
Donald... is just so talented.
And, it's a toss up between the main three: Bridgewater, Matthews, & Evans.

This poll might need to stay open the full 24 hours, because I think that the vote is going to be spread out fairly evenly between those three (six, seven, six)... with two or three votes for several other positions, as well.

the Bucs wanted Greg Robinson, but will gladly take Jake Matthews as their LT of the future...

I voted other for CJ Mosely

Ever other position is deep ... To add mosely to David and Foster would give them a really good really going LB core

They signed Anthony Collins so LT isn't a need ... Inside is a need but no guard is with the 7th pick

WR they need speed ... They already have Jackson and mike Williams (although Williams could be gone soon) ... They don't have that speed guy
