I don't see how Jake Matthews makes sense ... They would have to play him at RT since they signed Anthony Collins ... And to pair them together as your tackles would not be good for your running game

I'm going to keep my vote as other but say trade

NY Jets trade up for Mike Evans
They give geno his weapons in Eric Decker and now mike Evans

Evans will go to Buffalo with the next pick so the jets make the jump

And bucs nobody really their that's screaming you have to take me

Yeah and they signed a LT and a center to strengthen the group

Anthony Collins is a horrible Run Blocker from the LT position and Matthews would be a bad run blocker at the RT position ... Really a bad situation for muscle hamster

If oline Lewan a better fit cause his Run blocking would be an asset at the RT along with good pass pro

With the 7th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M.

Wins are a team statistic, not a quarterback statistic.

Winning big will not earn a team two wins, nor will winning ugly give a team only half a win.

@cbrunn

Your point is heard, but Matthews is the best O-lineman. Lewan might be a better run blocker, but Matthews is simply the better overall player.

As far as playing a LT at RT, my retort would be "Why not?" Two bookend OTs seals the edges, protects the QB, and improves the entire offense.

I do agree: aside from the Rams, the Buccaneers is the team most likely to trade down.

And the rams allready have pick 13 so they may want to trade down and stockpile picks in this deep draft if no one reaches out and grabs them by the balls at 2.
