Default Should the NFL have more games in a season...

You know that feeling of saddness, void, depression, whatever you feel, when the NFL season finally ends. No matter how far the Steelers get in post season or what record they end up with that feeling at the last snap of the last regular season game, or the Super Bowl, or the Pro Bowl is finally complete and the clock shows :00 is just about as bad as it gets.

Would you be in favor of having the NFL season extended to more games ? Since we only play once a week, you couldnt have anything as long as basketball or hockey, but how bout say another month or so of games and extend the season?

I voted for leave it how it is. As sad as I am when the NFL season is over I still wouldn't change it. I like the way it is.

I could deal w/ another month of football I think ;) but one thing I think they should do is outlaw this having your bye week in the 2nd or 3rd week of the season... what a bunch of shiate!!!

I voted keep it the way it is.The longer the season, the more tired the players are,the more chance for injuries going into the playoffs.

No way it should be longer. If anything, they should cut the preseason down to 2 games and make it shorter.

I voted to keep it the same. As much as I love football and hate the offseason because all I do is count down to next season. I would have to say keep it the way it is. Since football is so physical...there are more chances for injury and since the Steelers are a team that is used to being in the post season...we want to avoid any extra wear and tear on the guys!

Good point. There are already enough injuries in the NFL during football season.

I love i mean really love Steelers football! But I don`t know if I could handle a longer season. I mean screaming , yelling, pulling my hair out. Heart attacks, sleepness nights b4 some games. All the superstitions, forget it. I`m getting old.

Yeah my wife, as much of a Steeler fan as she has become, is as worn out as I am after the season.. emotionally exhausted to say the least.

I do agree preseason games cut be cut down to 2 or 3 games total. Some teams play 5 every year, thats just way too much.....but then w/ less preseason games, u have less time of game experience which could water down the first couple weeks of the season while teams are still getting acclimated w/ new systems, players, personnel, etc. But still, I could definately agree w/ less preseason.
