Default Time to rebuild

The steelers did a great job this off season filling in gaps with young players. Obviously rome isn't built in 1 day. What should the steelers do this next year to rebuild? Ben, Heath, ike, and Troy are not getting any younger

My opinion, trade players or picks up to get Jameis Winston

NO!

The Browns are in rebuilding since 1999, so I'm not interested at a rebuild

i'd have to wait and see how this year goes before making any sure statement. whatever their plan is, if they can get it turned around without worse than an 8-8 record it would be great.

The main consideration is we are in the last 3-7 years of Ben's career.

I thought we were gonna trade picks and players to move up and get Jadaveon Clowney this year? Or were we going to do that last year to trade up and take Dion Jordan??

No, my bad....we were gonna trade up and get Teddy Bridgewater at this time last year. Ben has 5 more years in him.

You are not need to be bad to become a team that competes for the super bowl

Seahawks are an example.....Under Pete Carroll the Seahawks only had one top 10 draft picks...In the 2000s, the Steelers did not have one top 10 draft pick

The Packers had two top 10 draft picks in the 2000s, but it is not the reason why they are one of the best teams in the NFL since 2009

He may have 5 years but 5 more super bowl contending years i don't think so. It's about winning superbowls not preserving the legacy of one player. In 10 years will we be known as the team who had Big Ben or the team who has 7-8 superbowls. Team legacy > player legacy. It's the Pittsburgh steelers not the Pittsburgh bens.

If you trade up to draft Winston you play him - so in other words you are saying trade or release Ben

Got it

If you have a franchise QB with the ability to lead offenses to win Super Bowls and he has 5 more years of playing ability, why do you want to release/trade him in order to get an unproven college QB?

Ryan Leaf, Rick Mirer, Heath Schuler, Vince Young, Jamarcus Russell, David Carr, Tim Couch and Christian Ponder all think its a silly idea.

If Ben wins one more super bowl in the next 5 years, it's worth it...

I think we are close
