Why do people always cite Rome? It wasn't even the grandest empire.

Thanks a lot, bin Laden.

My opinion, trade players or picks up to get Jameis Winston

It's also funny how you don't know how to accurately assess the talent at any position on the field. It's hilarious that you watch football, but don't have any idea what you're watching. Ben has played behind laughable offensive lines for most of his career. The fact that you don't understand that or acknowledge that is ignorant. They wouldn't have made those other Super Bowls without his play. Not many other quarterbacks, if any, would be able to succeed behind those offensive lines. That's because we all know that teams that have horrible pass blocking, horrible run blocking, average receivers, and inept offensive coordinators are dominating the league.

Oh, that's right. It's Ben's fault when the team loses. They overcome him when they win.

The only thing that's been proven here is that you know nothing about football.

Reading your ridiculous posts here is like listening to you play a piano with one key. It's the same bullshit over and over and over again.

Here's a great link to a list of career playoff records of quarterbacks. Look at the playoff records, the career team points per game, and tell me what you think.

Hey @jb500ex , explain how Roethlisberger-led teams average more points per game in the playoffs than Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, John Elway, Dan Marino, and Roger Staubach.

Must be all those Top 5 defenses, huh?

This

The Steelers have scored 27 PPG with Roethlisberger in career in the playoffs and the steelers have never scored less than 20 points in the playoffs with Roethlisberger

Yes, let's mortgage the team with a SB-winning franchise QB in his prime that is maybe a piece or two away from being a true contender in order to trade up for the guy who steals crab legs and needs a babysitter at 20 years old.

talk of drafting a replacement for ben right now is not only retarded , but unrealistic because it ain't happening. maybe in 2 more years you might start seriously contemplating spending a high pick on his "understudy"

but it might be entertaining to discuss how next years draft may unfold by examing the current roster.

offense
QB - good....maybe a 5th or later pick if landry doesn't improve
RB - good....maybe a day 3 pick for depth
WR - you can never have to many good wr's. if a good one falls to you, take him.
TE - heath isn't getting any younger. could be a day 1 pick
C - good .... maybe a day 3 pick for depth
G - i think left guard could be upgraded if value is present
T - if munchack can work a miracle with gilbert and / or davis, great ! if not you take the best value as soon as it presents its self

defense
NT - we'll see how it goes , but we may yet have to look in the draft for the right guy.
DE - good ... i think we got our guys in heyward and tuitt.
OLB - worilds is gone weather he has a good year or not. we'll see about jones.
ILB - good ... if spence gets back to form i think we have a surplus of good ilbers
CB - could once again be the problem spot. if not , see wr's above
S - ok here if shamarko comes through for us. depth is still needed.
