Default Who is the next great NFL QB still in college?

I think it is Hackenberg from PSU. 6'4", 235 and a cannon for a right arm. Also extra tough. Reminds me an awful lot of Big Ben. And he is only a true sophomore. Hope Franklin knows how to use him as good as O'Brien did.

Mariota is the best QB prospect in college right now.

Kyle Allen, Texas A&M

He's on essentially no one's radar. But, I see the way that their QBs were Ryan Tannehill then Johnny Manziel... and soon, Kyle Allen. I equate it with how Ted Tedford had several "okay" QBs who were drafted in R1 (e.g. Kyle Boller)... and then, he had Aaron Rodgers.

You hit on a very important point, good QB coaches develop good QB's. Good coaching at every level of the game does not get enough credit. That's why Hackenberg had a great freshman year, his coach was Bill O'Brien.

I can't put my finger on it, but for some reason I doubt that a QB named Hackenburg will be successful.

Sorry Jon. It's in our contract. But it could be worse. You could have the Browns roster of QBs of shame.

Can't stand "running QBs"
Always prefered pocket passers
