Why didnt we trade Quincy to the Falcons for Duckett??? I heard that offer was on the table

That's the first I 've heard of that trade... but why trade when we could get Davenport for nothing??

umm we tried to get Duckett twice ... they wanted a little more than we were willing to give ... then we tried getting Artose Pinner off the waiver wire when Detroit cut him lose... but someone else had an earlier pick and took him .. so now we have Davenport..... Is not like the Steelers havnt been trying to get a bigger back in here .. just didnt work out till now
