Yeah its amazing when the receivers aren't WIDE open, how terrible they really are!

I agree, it would have been ideal for the Steelers to have taken a chance on Kirk Cousins. The Redskins would probably want far to much in trade for him now

Was thinking the same thing. Cousins is a pretty good prospect. He could learn a lot from BB.

Heard before draft skin wanted a 2nd plus another draft pick. Tampa wanted something like 2 second round for Glennon.

wtf are they smoking? 2nd round pick for your backup is freaking plenty

Of course, it is the Redskins, so, throw logic out the window

Bring in Kitna for a year before you go doing that

Cousins is the type of QB who would be worth a 2nd round pick IMO and another later pick in the next year but it'd have to be 6th or 7th

Just got around to watching the game. The offense wasn't as bad as some people are talking about here. Keep in mind, Roethlisberger played one series. Against the Seahawks, Manning's first (and what would have been his only series had he just played in that one) was a one first down, quick three and out drive. It's the preseason, it's why we have it.

I'll also be the first one and admit that Adams didn't have as bad a game as some are saying. He didn't look great (or even average) but he wasn't the worst player on the field.

Our defense looked like they were playing in the first preseason game of the year. Jarvis' sack came off of an impressive counter move to the inside. He looks like he's much more comfortable now, even in our vanilla, preseason defense.

Overall, it was the first preseason game of the year.

Player of the game: Howard Jones.

Goat of the game: Martavis Bryant. He looked like a rookie in his first preseason game. Shocker, right?

Well, some of our other rookies looked a lot better so I don't think you should just give him a pass for being a rookie. Granted, he deserves more time before we write him off but he looked bad regardless of year.

We knew exactly what he was when we drafted him. A project. This is why I give him a pass. He looked like a project receiver - high ups, low downs, and everything in between.

True enough but ugh….I still think they should have drafted a more sure thing. Or just stick with Moye as a big target. Dude gets open in the Redzone and that is all we really need him for.
