Default Brother vs Brother

anyone watching the Colts/Giants game.

you want to talk about a game that mite go down to the wire...

I would like nothin but to see the younger Manning to come out on top of this one...

The one thing that stands out from the this game, the Colts better find a way to run the ball or they are not doing anything in the playoffs. Both Rhodes and Addai didn't look good in the game.

I was so upset and disgusted by all of the hype leading up to the magical meeting of the Mannings that I watched the pregame show and then watched two DVDs with my 7 year old granddaughter.....

Im amazed that the Colts still won it despite being run on all day by both Jacobs and Barber.

I guess it was down to Eli losing his composure a couple of times when they were only 2points behind.

That Colts run game does have quite alot of work to do Rhodes stats look pretty poor and Addai's weren't much better.

Thank God this game is OVER. I'm not counting sheep to try and fall asleep - I'm counting Mannings.

u know what, all the baby pictures and hype of 2 brothers playing against eachother didnt really bother me. it was pretty cool.

what bothered me was the announcers constantly saying things like

"this has to be the hardest thing the manning parents have had to go through"

"this has to be the roughest day of their lives"

"i cant imagine what they must be going through"

"this must be tearing them to pieces inside"

"how will they live beyond tomorrow"

im sorry but were they watching their children recover from a horrible car accident or survive cancer, or were they watching their 2 very successful children play a game and each earn about a million dollars apiece for 1 nights work. i could be wrong but i believe both parents had witnessed both of their sons lose a game before. it cant be that bad.

does anyone have an update of how their parents are doing today? after all they went through something much tougher than tony dungy did last year.

Great post, you nailed it. That was by far the worst part of the hype for this game.

Once again, excellent point, Tony. I couldn't believe how much they were hyping this even during our game. I have 2 boys. Let me just share with you that if they both were successful NFL players competing against each other in a game.....pride is what I'd be experiencing!
