Default i know most still hate plaxico but...

those were 2 awesome catches last night. and while he did let steelerfans down, he would routinely make those circus grabs and drop the seemingly easy ones. i enjoy watching him as a giant.

He also had some great blocks.

All Manning had to do was throw the ball up over the colts dbs' heads and Plaxico could go get it. It was like watching a high school game with one huge kid on the field.

Tony, I don't hate Plax at all. I just got tired of what you said in your post how he would make the impossible catch but then drop the easy ones. Plus the comments he made after the loss to the Pats in the AFC title game was the last straw for me. I don't wish Plax any harm and I hope he lives up to the expectations of being the 8th pick in the 2000 NFL draft. Overall Plax had a good career with us but didn't live up to the expectations that the Steelers and the fans had for him.

My sentiments too. He should have the chance to grow up and excel. I'd be glad to see him man up and do well for the G-Men. Because he was a Steeler is the responsibility of Cowher/Colbert. Our latest first rounder is no exception. I hope the parallels with Santonio don't come to fruition. I'm 'betting' they will (hey...you have to pick black or red on the wheel). I hope I'm wrong. But money doesn't make this kind of problem any better. 9.5 times out of 10 it makes it worse.

I liked the three nice blocks that were called for Illegal Block/Block in the Back Penalties.
Plaxico is me first type of player and will always come up small when he's needed most.

He is one of the best in the NFL. He played for Michigan State I loved watching him play, his hands were the size of my Buick but off the field he was/is a headcase.

He did drop a couple easy ones, and he also had those penalties.

I love watching the athleticism when he's at his best, but he's all highs and lows. I'm satisfied with him performing like that for someone else, instead of spiking live balls for the Steelers. He'll make those circus catches, sure; but he'll also take you right out of the game when you need him the most.

I don't hate Plax, but his huge ego was a problem for the Steelers and will be a problem for the Giants, too. While I wouldn't put him in the Top 10 receivers in the league, he does have a lot of talent - his problem is that his 'tude sometimes gets in the way of utilizing that talent to its fullest potential. He is TO's mini me.

His easy drops and his departing comments pertaining to our city and it's fans were enough for me to come to the conclusion that he's a bonehead.

I'm guessing his departing comments are not as big of a deal for those who happen to reside in other cities. For those of us from Pittsburgh, a good number of us took his narrowminded and idiotic comments as a personal insult. How could we not?
