Default Best team of the past (other than the Steelers)

What's the best team of years gone by..other than the Steelers of course cuz we all know nothing tops the Steelers Dynasty of the 70's.

The skins when Joe Gibbs was there w/ the Hogs, and Theismann, Riggins, and the fun bunch comes to mind as one great one.

There are a number of teams to pick from. I like the skins, The Giants had a pretty good team, niners were great. Elway had a number of good teams. And I really like Elway.

Even though we hate them, you cant leave out the Cowboys. I think they have been to more Superbowls (8) than anybody and won 5

I have to go with the Cowboys of the 90's.....thoses teams were great. they may not have been able to beat some of the 49ers teams of the 80's, but I think they would kill the Redskins of old. They had perfect balance.....good defense, good offense, and they could run or pass

I think definately the Packers of the '60s have been forgotten. Way before my time, but there in the history books. Cowboys of the 90's and Patriots of the 2000's. And of course, the 49'ers of the 80's.

Denvers run was pretty impressive. It may have lasted longer if Elway didn't retire.
