Default Cincy or Indy

I know these ESPN polls mean nothing, but there's an interesting one tonight. It asks which 2-0 team is best. Indy's leading but the Bengals are 2nd. I don't understand.. Is the constant exposure to the mannings on tv actually rubbing off on people? I think it's pretty clear that the Bengals are a more formidable opponent, what about you?

Hmm tough one.

Both are good teams - the Colts have coped well so far with a pretty huge injury list and come up big on the road against a good Giants team.

I still have questions about the bengals run D - but their offense has the potential to be the most exciting and potent in the NFL.

Right now I say Indy....based on the win at NY.....

Cincy has played a depleted KC team and the Clowns.....

That's a tough one, but at this moment, I'd say the Colts by a hair.

colts by a mile. anyone remember what they did to a formidable patriots and steelers opponent last season?

bengals are nowhere near that level. hell, they went 11-5 ONCE. big deal.

Cincinnati easily.. With the loss of James, Indy is notched down. Rudi proved he is a beast twice now this season. Hell.. Palmer really didnt have to do much against the Chiefs.

Which 2-0 team is better? Which 6-1 team is better? Oh. Okay. I'd bag on you for the thread but I'm responding so now I look in the mirror.

Cincy just played two cupcakes. Snack. Indy beat the Giants which is a team that actually should have won if that mysterious offensive interference call was uncalled. And then there was the illegal snap which no one showed a replay of to help us pions understand why the clock ran down to impossible.

I'm not going Holmgren or Seahawk on you. But was ANYONE else puzzled by those 'calls'?

REALLY!!!!!!!! Did those calls puzzle anyone?

So Brian. The four games net one suspect victory. Even the dog is laughing at how low the hat hangs. Unless beating the WalMart Texans and the Browns is your litmus for success.

Am I not allowed to give my opinion?

And you have the Bears and the Chargers... yeah they've played cupcakes too, but they've really benefitted from it. An unsteady but talented Bears offense has had two games to perfect their timing on pass routes, their blocking calls on the line, the coordination between Grossman and his receivers (that "break, don't think" thing). They would have won both games regardless; but they used those two games to get better. It was like having two extra preseason games that counted, where they could leave the first team in to work on everything.

NFC, fear the Bears. They are the next Steelers.

Indy seems to benefit from quite a few of these non-calls - i've seen the play clock run down to zero plenty of times before the ball gets snapped.

I dont know how to explain it, and I wonder why the coaches haven't raised this point before.
