Just wondering if there was any place that anyone goes to watch the games in South Jersey where the best football team in Pennsylvania is priority and not that other crap they watch in Philly. I see alot of gear around but I guess everyone stays home because I dont know of any places where they feature the Steelers. On the bright side though this little detail has led me to creating an awesome home theatre to watch the games in high def! It still would be nice to watch the games with other fans besides my family it gets lonely just the 4 of us waving terrible towels in my t.v. room.

Where at in SJ are you? I usually watch the games at home alone. I found a Philly Steeler fan group who watches the games at Finnigans Wake in philly. I think I may head over there for the Monday Night game. It sounds like a good time with lots of Steeler fans and Sports talk 950 brodcasting from there on Monday. He's an email from the Philly club.
I was sorry to have missed the innaugurial game at Finnigan's Wake, but I understand that Mike Driscoll (owner) has gone INSANE with trying to accomodate our group. I know that there has been some discussion about Finnigan's vs. Fox and Hound for the Steelers games, but I was just curious if Fox and Hound provided those Primanti style sandwiches this year like Finnigan's did Thursday? Did Fox and Hound provide the sound for the Steelers game or did you have to compete with ESPN X games or Punky Brewster reruns? Finnigan's has four (4) flat screen plasma televisions, one projection television (with another on the way), and three (3) 19" televisions behind the bar - THERE IS NOT A BAD SEAT IN THE HOUSE. We are going to do something a little extra special for this group in hopes of truly building up the membership and commeraderie of the existing fan base. I am fortunate enough to have a business that allows for me to acquire some memorabilia, and over the next several weeks Mike LoGreco and I are going to be deciding on what to do with such items as: 1.) John Stallworth autographed jersey 2.) Donnie Shell autographed jersey 3.) Kevin Greene autographed mini-helmet 4.) James Harrison autographed framed photo (Decking the Cleveland Brown fan who ran onto the field last year - titled "SLAMMED!") 5.) Willie Parker autographed official Super Bowl XL ball and much much more!! It's our hope to generate additional excitement within the group and a genuine interest to support an establishment who believes in us enough to provide shirts, beer specials, food specials, premium sound and television, and a guaranteed venue to watch EVERY Steeler game no matter how big we get (Fox and Hound turned people away during the AFC Championship game). We hope you join us NEXT Monday night at 7:00pm @ Finnigan's Wake for a pre-game kick off party! Tell everyone you know to come out and give Finnigan's Wake a chance to win you over. I am promising a special give-away item during half time, but you have to be there to have a chance at winning it! $2 Iron's, $2 Coors Lights, $2.50 Lager, and Primanti style Sandwiches! What's not to love? Are we going to have to ask the staff to be rude to you in order to feel like you are at Fox and Hound?? We can do that, they are that accommodating. ..lol. Looking forward to seeing a HUGE group on Monday. |

Oi! Hmm - Haaahh! SportsTalk 950am (the better alternative to 610 WIP
and their 'know-it-all' wolfman!) will be broadcasting LIVE on Monday night from Finnigan's Wake beginning at 7pm. Don Tolefson and Glenn Foley will be discussing the previous Sunday action, but I say we give them something else to talk about when the entire freakin' club shows up in the Black n' Gold! Bring the towels, bring the jerseys, bring the NOISE because it's our opportunity as a group to show Philly what real fans look like!! STEELERS @ JACKSONVILLE - BIG BEN RETURNS!! Hope to see everyone there! |

I am in Marlton. Finnigans sounds cool but I dont know about Monday night. I already have a friend that went to the Parade with me in Feb. Ill have to check out 950 though it isnt often I listen to reg radio anymore though since I got sirius. Which by the way lets you listen to the games with local broadcasts.
