Default Troy Was a Non-factor

Is he still hurting or what? I love Troy and he's usually invaluable to this team, but he didn't do ANYTHING today.

they were saying before the game they are trying to keep him less involved until week 5 so he is 100% healthy.

Yeah, I think it's obvious that they are playing it careful with Troy. They're not sending him on any blitz's at all.

The guy is having to help out Ryan Clark I believe... he is new to our system and the staff needs him to help out... Hope was a fixture to our DEE that Troy could trust and Clark has to earn that from Troy...

With the bye having arrived, Troy admits the obvious.

The one Steelers player who might benefit most from the week off is All-Pro safety Troy Polamalu, who hasn't played up to his accustomed level because of a shoulder injury.

"Regarding the injury, yes," Polamalu said, asked if this was a good time for the bye.
