for the simple reason he hasnt proven himself in the nfl yet. I think Chow and fisher both feel burned by the titans front office for passing on leinart. Leinart is already nfl ready. And vince young is at least 3 years away. Even though i dont think vince young will be an nfl qb.

Hey -- I appreciate the comment on Leinart -- I started the Leinart thread today..I think he's going to be great -- even with the Cards -- I mentioned Chow because of the ethnic quota thing with coaches now and Rooney pushing hard for it in the first place-what if there is not a good African American coach available? - Norm is available and I hate for him to go back to the college ranks after only working with the Titans for a couple of years

Chow's system requires a decent and more importantly - smart QB or it won't work - end of story - he comes from the same origins as Walsh, Holmgren, Reid ...
