Fluery gives up a bad one early. Making it 3 to 1. Zetterberg 2 goals. Not a good feeling now.

Just got home but not watching - seems like Fleury gave away another goal, and the Pens are looking lost without Geno. Lots of guys playing out of position will do that.

I'm just biding my time until the Pens get to the playoffs right now, because I don't think they're going to get their game together until then. And I still don't think they are going to win the division.

All I have to say is. This time last year the Pens were hot and on fire, this year they are just average and Fluery is also just average!

I still believe and always will til the end.

They were hot and on fire last year because they had to be. This year they are all but assured of either the 2nd or 4th seed, so the sense of urgency isn't there, and isn't going to be there until April 14, when the playoffs start. They can give all the lip service they want about everything is going to be OK down the stretch, but I'll believe it when I see it. They are not playing like a championship-caliber team, and really haven't since October.

Killing this game two PP's coming for Detroit and the Pens just have no urgency in them.

They're going through the same thing that the Sharks are going through, except they aren't losing 5-1 to teams like the Oilers. Just going through the motions, no urgency, no fire, no nothing. It's like they're just trying to make it to the finish line, then they'll start playing for real.

Just ugly. I only saw Sid trying out there today and Fluery played great early, but this team had 0 ounce of will or want to win this game. No Geno hurts for sure, but this team has to get more goals from others and tonight there was not many chances. Well it get's no easier Caps Wed.

Ugh. Oh well .......

Wednesday's game might wake the boys up a bit and we will perhaps see some more intensity and better play from the team since playing the Caps usually bumps things up a notch.

Even though I can't stand that turd on skates, I really enjoy the games against Washington, so I hope it's a good one.

Hopefully Geno will be back playing as well.

BTW, the game should be available to everybody. It will be on NHL Network, which is giving free access to all thru the 27th.

For some reason this pic of MAF reminds me of Spongebob.

Damn these kids always at my house and damn all those cartoon channels!
