And..........................................the Pens lose.

Instead of booing Jagr every time he touches the puck, the bandwagon should be booing Therrien for throwing Recchi back in the line up. But why do that? GET OVER IT.

Keep taking out those young kids with the will to win and who are actually fighting for something (A JOB!!!) and put in Recchi. Real smart.

Also, I'm tired of hearing about his veteran leadership. It's OBVIOUS who the leader is on this team...........he wears #87. Let's go beyond that though for the hell of it, we have Sykora, Gonchar and Roberts for the "veteran leadership" qualities. The guy has four goals in 47 games.

Kennedy played 15 minutes last game and played a good game. Then you decide to bench the kid and play a used up Mark Recchi? I remember last season when Therrien's motto was "We will go with whatever is working for us". Doesn't seem to be the case this year. This is why I did not want to see us resign Mark Recchi. Because this organization doesn't have the balls to bench him, plus HE'S DONE. The big, red, ****ing blinking light was there at the end of last season.

Andre Savard is knocking on the door. Then again, who's to say he has the stuggots to bench Recchi? We should never have resigned him. Plain and simple.

It will be interesting to see if Therrien goes with Colby or Kennedy. I'm starting to believe that Armstrong said something to Therrien in order to piss him off and severely put him in the dog house. I just find it hard to believe Armstrong would open his mouth. He doesn't seem like that type of player, but the longer he sits the more I have to wonder.....

lol, not going to happen. Now on this team and in this city.

Not that you and I should be surprised, but FWIW............

Quote:
Therrien was noncommittal about whether Colby Armstrong or Mark Recchi will play right wing on the No. 2 line with Erik Christensen and Evgeni Malkin tonight, and his decision will affect more than the makeup of that particular unit.

If Recchi gets the call, it likely means Sidney Crosby will assume a spot on one of the top two penalty-killing pairings, presumably alongside Ryan Malone.
