I agree. What worries me is Therrien taking him off that second line if he doesn't get a HT tonight against the Devils. Yet he has no problem keeping Recchi on the second line every night while not producing.

Interesting how that works. But no favorites right coach?

exactly give him a couple of games playing with malkin, he does lead the team in assists right now

Recchi is out again for the second game straight. Love it. DO NOT CHANGE THESE LINES. Let them play together.

On that note, this Sens vs Pens game is great. A bitter hatred between these two teams. Last years playoffs still fresh. Laraque threw down in the first (won the fight IMO). Ruutu is throwing the body around. We are down 2-0 in the first. Second goal should never have occured. It was a PP goal for the Sens on a bullshit call on Ruutu for diving. Good job refs.

Fleury has been pulled and Sabourin is in net.

2-2 after one. Malkin keeping his 15 game point streak alive with the goal. Malone scored the second goal.

3-2 Pens. Tyler Kennedy. NICE. Young kid stepping up. He's hitting everything in site and scoring the go ahead goal.

Blowing PP chances for the second straight night. Had another 5 on 3 for 42 seconds and we couldn't put it away. Last season it was automatic, this year we can't buy a PP goal at this point.

And it's now 3-3 even though Spezza high sticked Adam Hall in the face directly in front of the ref right before scoring the goal. Also, I can't count how many times Sidney Crosby throws the puck in front of the net and there is not a Penguin jersey in site. Has to be frustrating.

Overall though we are playing a good game against a great hockey team.

4-3 Sens on the PP goal by Heatley.

That is now 12 PP goals we have given up in the last 7 games.

If only Ryan Malone could play the way he did tonight every night. I'm not even talking about his two goals and assist. He's moving his feet. Hustling. Showing determination.

Armstrong, Malone and Kennedy played a good game tonight. How you can switch the lines after this game is beyond me. Should be fired if he does.

Shootout time.

PENS WIN!!!!

All four lines contributed in way or another tonight. Never called it quits. Played three periods of hockey. That was the Penguin team I remember from last season. If this game doesn't get that team on a roll I'm not sure what will.

My only two complaints.......Fleury and our STs. Fleury = 2 shots - 2 goals. Both were bad goals IMO.
