I don't know what's going on, but this is a very special Penguins team. They're just rolling and finding ways to win. The Rangers threw all they could at them last night in front of a high-capacity home crowd, and still lost.

The Pens are one game away from a second consecutive series sweep...over a tough division rival that knows them well. They're playing the epitome of playoff hockey.

I hope it carries through this series, into the next, and then to the Championship series.

From what I've seen the Flyhers are playing some great D and their goalie has been lights out as well. From the west, Detroit has been on fire and they seem rejuvenated as well.

Best part of last night was tuning in to the MSG Rangers postgame report. I love Direct TV...lol

Jagr looked like he was about to cry and even brought up the possibility that the next game may be his last.

Cardiac Kids strike again.

On a night when Jagr looked like his old self, and the Pens played their worst period of the playoffs (the 2nd), they still found a way to win. Kudos to Therrien on a well timed time-out. And to our special teams----Scuderi was a monster with all those blocks and Malkin's lazer shot was unstoppable.

Anyone see Laraque kiss Dan Potash at the conclusion of his interview between periods??? Classic!

Be careful what you wish for. It would be nice to have the home ice advantage for that extra game though. I guess as long as no one on the team says they want Philly it will be OK....lol

I absolutely LOVE this team. No matter what happens from now on, I am so proud of this team. The way they stick up for each other and the way they never get rattled is very impressive.

I also love how our team can play any style we need to. If the opposing team wants to open up the game, we will outscore anyone. If the opposing team wants to buckle down and play tight D, we can do that too. If you want to goon up and take cheapshots, we got guys that will kick your arse!!!!!!!!!

GO PENS!!!!!!

Bottom line. Pens have more talent than anyone else, hands down. They've had that in the past but w/o the multiple enforcers like they do now. Couple that with the fact that the "Star " players can pretty much take care of themselves to begin with. Even Crosby is initiating contact and taking no crap from anyone. I know this is sacrilege, but that was never Mario's strong suit.

If they can keep this core intact the skys the limit. IMO theres no one who can beat them 4 times right now.
