Off topic. Witnessed something tonight. The Caps are playing the Sabres tonight. The Caps were losing 6-1 and Ovechkin scored to make it 6-2. From the way Ovechkin was celebrating, you would have thought the guy tied it up or took the lead for his team. I hope somebody catches that S.OB. with his head down at some point this season.
Thank you hockey gods for Sid. Pens losing 1-0 tonight to the Devils in the third.

A few complaints............
Sidney Crosby does not play enough. I don't even think he cracks the top 20 in ice time. The best player in hockey doesn't crack the top 20? That's crazy. Also, did Christensen insult Therrien's mother? I know Ouellet is Therrien's little French Canadien pet, but I will take Christensen over Ouellet anyday of the week. The kid was called up and was scoring goals and picking up assists and then he was benched for a guy who's main strength is scoring on the PP and he hasn't even been doing that lately. Smart. It is now 2-0 Devils with 4:02 left. This game is over.

Boring and predictable game. The Pens just cannot beat the Devils, especially in Jersey. And I'm sorry, but somebody needed to knock Cam Janssen on his ass for going after Sid. This "team toughness" garbage is starting to piss me off.
Anyway, hoping for a better effort tomorrow night - we cannot fall too far behind in the race, either in the division or conference.
