That seemed to be the case throughout the entire game. Great action without a lot of stoppages. Especially in the 3rd.

Hate to see us giving up a 2 goal lead, but that shootout was very exciting. Fleury was awesome! Really aggressive going for the poke check about 4 times.

Very entertaining game!

Enjoyed that game a bunch. Pens looked dominate in the 1st period, I thought. Great finish.

I watched most of the last 2 periods of the game, the OT and the shootout and they hung tough! Just gotta LOVE this team!

What are the chances that three new banners go up with the ones currently hanging at Mellon Arena now at Consol Energy Center next year?

(Presidents(Although I can live without this one), Eastern Conference, and Stanley Cup)

it'd be great to see the Guins hoist the Cup around the Civic Arena after winning it on home-ice for the first-time ever, following the last game to ever be played there in June '10:
I believe it's been 84 years TODAY that a Pittsburgh team won a World Championship at-home (unless you wanna count the Pipers in 1968)

They would actually get 4 banners if that were to happen - President's Trophy, Atlantic Division champs, conference champs, Stanley Cup champs. So long as we pick up the last 2, that's A-OK with me!

after listening to my dad tell me about that game & day since I was born (a year earlier, and my mom says I took my first steps that day), I had a total brain-fart and forgot about that

with the Bolts next on the Penguins' list of victims..... errr, 'opponents', here is a site where you can read about the latest with the Lightning, updated daily

http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/lightning/

Tampa is in Ottawa this evening, Pittsburgh on Saturday, then begin a 4-game, 9-day home-stand

They'd better make that t-shirt available to the general public - right now, only the players are wearing it.

Anyway, TB is getting owned by the Sens 4-0 so far. So much for that hot start.

EDIT: Make that 5-0
