Well the Guerin fight did pump the crowd and get some performance, but the Pens still trail after the first period. Time to see what we got up our sleeves Lets Go Pens!

Damn, the team looked like they were sleepwalking through most of that period. Not the kind of start you want to get off to, especially against a terrible team coming off a win and looking for their first road win of the season. Then Guerin gets into the fight, and it's like they flipped a switch. Hopefully they can continue it and get themselves back in the game - it would be pretty embarrassing for them to lose to the worst team in the league and hand them their first road win.

BTW, the Devils lead the Sabres 3-0 in the first, so if they hang on and the Pens lose, they will be tied for first place. Yeah I know, not important right now, but still...I don't want to see them catch us. That damn team just doesn't go away!

If there's one thing I've learned about this team since Dan Bylsma took over (and got taken to task for on Saturday night ), is that this team does not quit and they are never out of a game.

No excuse for losing this game. Just a horrible performance by Malkin...looked terrible. Fedotenko can't hit the net. Every play Staal and Guerin were in they managed to eff up. Fleury was swiss cheese in the first...so was the D. Multiple PP chances pissed away.

Pathetic.
