Heinz Field Memories...
Figured this way would be the best to start off my posting.
Since it's been about 5 years since Heinz Field open, I thought I'd start a thread on your favorite memories of the new stadium.
Describe for me the fans, the atmosphere, the feelings, you know, things that gave you goosebumps. Add in some 3 Rivers memories to give some depth to the thread if needed.
My favorite moment, is the 2002 playoff game against Cleveland. Even though the Steelers were down, the team never lost their enthusiasm. There was a common feeling amongst the fans that the Steelers were not out of this game.
Also, October 7th, 2001, since it was the first game at Heinz Field, which alone made it memorable.
Even though it's only been 5 years since opening, there has been a plethora of great memories thus far.
I would love you hear some of yours.
