Playing loose is great, but this is not really the week for University of Miami alums to be giving any coaching staff a hard time about maintaining discipline.

I obviously hope Davenport works out but a guy that got cut by the Packers should not be criticizing anyone.
It doesn't really sound like he was "trashing" the pack. I just think he was stating that he didn't agree with what was going on there, and it seems to me that he did it in professional manner. I like they way Cowher seems to be running things these days, and obviously, it paid off. Just remember, you cited the Bus, he was deemed a "troublemaker" when he came here from LA, if I remember correctley.

Interesting read...i like the guy. Although the way he's talking about practice time with the Steelers, it makes it sound as if there's no discipline. I'm sure that's not the case.

I didn't read it that way. I think what he's saying is that they're treated like professionals and allowed to have the privileges that come with that. Najeh's comments are a reflection of that.

Besides, Green Bay is run by Brett Farve. That much is pretty damned obvious these days. I'd have a problem with a team too if their past-his-prime quaterback were dictating player moves to the front office.

I like have Najeh in the backfield too. I just hope that his happiness with the way the Steelers organization is run will be expressed on the playing field come game time. So far, I'm liking it but it's only been a few games.

Only time will tell how much of an impact that change in regime will truly affect is work ethic, dedication, and performance!

I've been saying it since we signed him! His signing parallels Jerome's signing when he came here. Big back who wore out welcome with original club ! Now hopefully he starts filling out the rest of his shoes, or pants
