Myron loved the Steelers/Raiders rivalry of the 70's even more than we as fans did!

I went to see the play "The Chief" when it was performed here in Pittsburgh several years ago and learned that Mr. Rooney didn't get to see the Immaculate Reception live - he was on his way down from the owner's box to his office during those brief few moments! Hey HG....remember that missed field goal at the end of the Indy game last year?? (who could forget it!!) That was The Chief's work........it was his way of saying, "So, if that wasn't an interception, than this is NOT a field goal!!" I swear I could smell cigar smoke as that ball flew to the outside of the the goal posts.......

I have been looking foward to this game all week and I am ready for the whole sha-bang baby... I would love to see a very good ground game today of around 250 yards and a 3-4 mark is not out of the ?.. I am nursing a very sore throat and a real bad cough today as I have skipped church to try to stay out of the wind.. prayers would be appreciated and remember our players and Raiders players before the game..

Should be a blow out really- I dont expect Walter to be able to throw on the Steelers D with too much success - and whoever runs the ball for Oakland is going to be in for a long...looooonnnggg day.

Patience will be the key, Oakland doesn't concede too much in terms of yardage so it might take a while to break them down.

I do not know if the Steelers "need" to win this game, but I "NEED" them to win. I cant stand to think of going back to work tomorrow and facing a bunch of Bengals fans who do not know how to act. I was at the Bengals game last week, and people actually cheered when they showed Ben getting carted off the field. So...
