Default Did the Ravens Bart Scott try to take out Bush?

"The media darling, aka the golden boy of the NFL, tried to take a cheap shot at me, so I told him I was going to put some extra on it," Scott told the Sun. "He can do all those shakes he wants, but I wasn't going anywhere. I put a little hot sauce on that ankle." Tuesday, on ESPN Radio, Scott said he has the utmost respect for Bush and didn't think his tackle was a cheap shot, but did stick to his claim that Bush tried to cheap-shot him.
As for that hot sauce?

Scott said he was referring to playing in New Orleans, where they have, hot spicy food -- not to putting something extra on his tackle.

I don't know, this story seemed a little fishy with his comments. There are plenty of dirty hits in the game, but usually players won't "admit" to them.

The Ravens still are thugs. Since the Steelers season is shot I will root for the Bengals to win the division (the equivalent of having to choose between Bush and Kerry in 2004), secure in the knowledge Billick & Ray-Ray will be blown off the field if they meet the Pats or Colts in the playoffs.

I'm sure the NFL will see nothing wrong with this type of attitude and intentional harm. Sort of like helmet to helmet hits!

A nice bit of subliminal messaging with the 'Ray Stabbed Him' page flicking up toward the end.

The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

Ummm.... What's wrong with the tackle? It looked like a thousand other tackles I've seen.

Looked clean to me. Until he stabbed him.

It looked to me like he purposely went for his ankles and then also tried to twist them as he stood up after the tackle. That's just my perspective. It could also be that I hate the ratbirds!
