They've been great for a while now, three Super Bowls' worth of great. But only this season have the New England Patriots become The Show, the must-see team of stars, pretty boys and reformed bad boys. Suddenly, the Patriots are not simply great; they're compelling, fascinating, appearing to be almighty and a touch lawless. The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed. |

that pats pass defense w/o harrison looks alot like indys rush defense w/o sanders huh? great gameplan by belichick- have harrison hit everything in the backfield. he shoulda told him to watch out for the ground though. newsflash!: harrison is old. a torn rotator cuff cant help the cause. maybe they wouldnt have been humiliated at home in the biggest game of the season if he just had rodney cover some people. |

Yes they were exposed, I know its a bitter pill to swallow when they were beaten by 2 superior teams. Two wins were over overrated teams and the rest had losing records, not to mention leading the arguably weakest division in the NFL. Yes, weaker than the AFC North. Success with no fat paycheck only works for so long. And you can only fill in the holes with only so many has beens for so long. The Pats will probably win 12 games this year but wont get better than a 3 seed (unless Denver implodes). And when they meet a team with a superior D, like Baltimore, the dissection will be painful to watch as a Pats fan. I may actually feel sorry for them.......nah, i wont.
