Default Bill Cowher may be back!

I am glad to see that Bill has addressed well at least talked about some of our teams issues.... for awhile i thought he didnt even notice them... lets hope that challenging our team will do good for us and help us make it to the playoffs... Bill may be finally making something but then again he could be getting just more lazy....

i do know that i AM GLAD he has noticed our problems

After 14 weeks of football, I would hope so.

Just a question, do you believe this is his last year and that he's moving to North Carolina? I heard that he was considering coaching for a college down there.

In my opinion, Cowher was thinking about NC since February 6.

He already has his SB ring. He already cemented himself into the HOF. They (his family) are already living in NC. He's up here alone. If his current living arrangement was for only one season, then fine. For two? I highly doubt it. His daughter is going to be starting college next year and who wants to be away from their family (8 hours away) for that long of a period?

If he won a Super Bowl this season, I might be able to see him staying around for that third in a row. I would still have my doubts.

Also, the guy is still relatively young. When some think retirement, they think the guy is going to drop off the face of the map. IMO, he will retire for a few years and come back to the NFL or college and coach a different team.

Which NC do you think he is going to? NC just hired Butch Davis, and NC State already has a young coach. And he wouldn't make the money he is making now as a HC in College.

The mystery coaching job that people think Cowher wanted there, was given away. And Cowher coming back after he retires na do not think so. Soon as this season is over you will get the word he is done. Cowher clearly stated once his youngest daughter graduated from high school, that he was retiring from football. And he said that many years ago. Maybe the Whiz not taking the Raiders Head Coaching job was also a sign on who might be are next Coach.

Let the speculation begin. I like Jeff Fisher.

If he does leave, maybe Dick Lebeau will get promoted to head coach.
