This is one of my favorite things to make around the holidays-because everyone loves it and it's sooo ridiculously easy. It can be halved or doubled-depending on the amount of folks ya gotta feed.
No Bake Banana Pudding 4 Large Bananas (you can use more if you like-some like more fruit) 1 large box instant vanilla puddding 3 cups cold milk 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 large carton of non-dairy whipped topping (such as Cool-Whip) 1-2 boxes vanilla wafers (you may not use them all...but I like to get two just in case) In a large bowl, mix the milk and vanilla pudding together until well blended and let it set for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then fold in the whipped topping and the condensed milk until the mixture has a creamy consistency (should look like a cake batter). In a large pan (I usually use a 9x13) layer the vanilla wafers, then the sliced bananas, then the pudding mixture. You should finish with a layer of vanilla wafers at the top. Place the banana pudding in the refrigerator and let it set for 8 hours (or preferably overnight). ENJOY!

Ah yes, banana pudding...greatest dessert ever made! The only difference between your recipe and mine is that I prefer to use Cook and Serve pudding rather than instant, the way my family always made it. Thanks for making me hungry, BTW, because now I'm going to have to make one! ![]() MOP - no, you don't crush the wafers - layer them whole. You could top it with crumbled wafers though.

XT, do you actually cook the pudding according to the package directions or just mix it with the milk cold?

I cook it according to the directions on the package, then after pouring it over the bananas/wafers, I let it sit in the fridge to cool/thicken. It normally isn't in there very long before it's ready to serve.
