Exactly! And I also have faith in him, but I wouldnt want to be fooled either! As a kid I was great when my parents werent around, but no supervision? Lookout! only time will tell, i`m not sold yet!

In a season where more were arrested during the regular season compared to the offseason, I guess I'm not as worried as some. Like I said, unlike like last year he's been with the team for a full year. He's seen what floats and what doesn't.

An arrest is an arrest regardless of when! When you look at the thugs out there, most are repeat offenders. One arrest young guy being stupid, big deal. Two? Then you start paying a little more attention to him. He still has a ton of proving to do. There are no free passes to Steelers players. If he were a bungle, we would be all over his @$$ for two arrest, although two wouldnt be many there. Just my opinion.

Lol regardless of Holmes' progress he still makes my body freeze every punt, especially when he's calling fair catches and falls or moves around etc.

Him and his fumbles scare me as much as Amos Zeroeoue (sp? haven't seen that name in awhile)

Completely missed my point. I'll try one more time. You were stating that since it's the offseason we should be more worried because he's not keeping busy or around the team. My point was that more players got arrested in the regular season than in the offseason this year. I never stated that I condoned his conduct so I'm not exactly sure where you go that impression.

As for not getting a free pass in this city. Ernie Holmes ring a bell? Shooting a gun off on a bridge over the PA turnpike. He wasn't even arrested!

You and me both. I'm more concerned with him learning how to catch a punt than I am over the chance of him getting arrested...lol.

I didnt miss your point at all. I`m just stating my opinion that I`m pissed that he was arrested TWICE anyway. Everyone has an opinion on this topic. And I always respect your opinion on every topic, and arguement with you, is not what I had in mind. As one of the top members here, I`m always curious to see what your opinios are.

A free pass in the seventies was a given, nowadays a surprised that the all morale Steelers didnt step and and do something. Atleast a public statement from the front office stating how they will not condone.

I don't think anybody on here was exactly happy that he got arrested. But what can you do? It seems to me that he learned from his mistakes. Unlike many others in the NFL, he hasn't been arrested during the regular season.

Eitherway, we both have the same hopes in mind. Kid stays out of trouble (which I feel he will so I'm not as concerned) and prospers as a Steeler WR for years to come.
