Well, I just saw footage of what he did last night and altough it was entertaining, I really don't think it was worth it. He kinda looked like a pizza delivery guy. Still, he should know to save it for the sidelines and get as much yardage as possible.

Throw the ball to the closest ref and high five your teammates and go to the sidline and get ready to go out and play again after we score..

I like what LT does when he scroes a TD....he flips the ball to the ref and jogs off...he's in the mindset that "he'll be there again"....

It killz me that Anthony would act this way

I'm not like so many people I've encountered here and elsewhere - I don't mind a good celebration, TD/sack dance, whatever. After all, the NFL is entertainment, is it not? However, Smith was just stupid and selfish for doing that while the play is going on, and I would have smacked him upside the head too. Whatever he has planned for his next INT, he'd better at least save it for when the play is over.

Hopefully he'll take some cues from Troy on humility. Like when the refs try to take the game from you by reversing your interception and then having to publicly apologize the next day. You go out and beat the crap out of the rival team and walk away with the win anyway.

You're absolutely right - helluva role model stood right by him in the backfield.

The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

So what happens if he does something stupid and catches a deserved shot in the ear hole from an opposing player ? His teamates rightfully will have his back and then face being ejected from the game for retaliation. All because some rookie wants to be a class clown?
He should take a look at the profesional manner his pro bowl bound teamate in the defensive backfield handles himself and do likewise. He has been blessed with a talent that very few have and is making a living playing a game ! To act like an ass and put your team at an uneccesary risk is inexcusable !

I wonder what Smith would fetch on the trade market???? He won't be around long if this keeps up.

Oh come on. Maybe we can get Al Davis to give up Burgess or Huff.
