Default Patriots sign Sauerbrun

After losing two punters to IR in a matter of weeks the Patriots have signed Todd Sauerbrun.

Sauerbrun had tested positive for the supplement ephedra and was banned for 4 games - and then subsequently dropped by the Bronco's.

My last memory of the guy was his unbelieveable (for a punter anyway) hit on a Patriots player returning the ball on a punt in the playoffs last year - it caused a fumble and helped the Bronco's defeat the Patriots.

Ouch.

Suddenly, the Patriots are not simply great; they're compelling, fascinating, appearing to be almighty and a touch lawless.
The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

That's 3 Punters already. Man they can't keep anyone healthy.

I'm sorry but this topic relates to Pittsburgh Steelers news in what context? I only care about what the Steelers are doing, not what the Patriots are doing.

Steeler news usually goes into the "Pittsburgh Steelers" threads...this seems to be in the correct forum since its posted in the "NFL" section

I think we have the best punter...$$$$$$$$$ in the bank even if Gardocki is punting from our end zone ...it still won't be blocked!!!!!!!!!!
